Dr. Kakaria has trained at some of the finest institutions in our country.  He was valedictorian at Case Western Reserve University, an award-winning medical student at Vanderbilt Medical School, and Co-Chief Resident of Ophthalmology at Cornell University/ New York-Presbyterian Hospital.

He was the first resident to perform Laser Vision Correction in the history of Cornell University.  Dr. Kakaria is fellowship trained in laser refractive surgery and has performed more Laser Vision Correction surgeries during his fellowship training than any other fellow in the United States.
